Cess Pits

Cess pits receive all waste water from a property. Storm water must be excluded from the system.  
 
A cess pit is a large holding chamber that has no outlet or soakaway.  
 
Cess pits are uneconomical as they require regular emptying by a suction tanker.  
 
Independent Drainage are able to convert existing cess pits/septic tanks into sewage treatment plants avoiding invasive and expensive groundwork’s and disposal costs.
